Respectful Maternity Care Charter del White Ribbon Alliance

The “The Respectful Maternity Care Charter: Universal Rights for Women and Newborns” addresses the disrespect and abuse experienced by women, infants and families during maternal-neonatal care and clearly spells out the rights referred to women and newborns are carers during the care provided to them in a maternity hospital during pregnancy, childbirth and post-partum.

WHO Standard for Improving the Quality of Maternal and Neonatal Care in Healthcare Facilities

The WHO Standards contain and make explicit all aspects of health care to be followed and safeguarded to ensure high quality maternal and neonatal care at the time of birth. They represent a point of reference to guide and monitor the improvement of the quality of care worldwide.
